Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day!
Daughter did wake up early and made tea for me before I woke up... Then she started making omelette, but soon it turned into scrambled eggs, but I liked too.
The recently heart-broken BIL is coming with his rents for lunch out somewhere. I am feeling tempted to tell him to goli-maaro the whole thing and initiate divorce, but if they reunite, and he told her this, she will develop a khundak for me for the rest of our lives...
what to do, what to do...

ok, a copy/paste of images works here. great. i'm going to hunt for some clever (and smaller) emoticons now to personalize my posts here.
btw, happy mom's day to you! very sweet of your d to wake up earlier and cook you breakfast. my kids had planned on buying a gift for their mom from archies (a gift shop). they woke up today to realize that it's closed on sundays. they had to do with a kiss and touched her feet the traditional way (their idea). happy mom's day to all moms on board!

Re: Happy Mother's Day!
Ofcourse I know archies have spent many many hours in there... my bff's birthday comes 3 days before me... so we would actually divide card stores, so that we could give each other a card that we haven't read already.
Also, when my sis, and later my bro got engaged, I would buy the cards for THEM coz the two were too lazy to buy any when writing to their fiance's.

Hmm... no it gotta be before that.. In the late 80's we used to go to this local card store named - something I forgot... then circa 1992 he took Archie's dealership... I might be wrong about the year, but I moved here in 1997, and am pretty sure that store was taken over by Archie's before that... I also remember huge Archie trademark cards and there ads on TV.

So I guess that store became Archies even before 1992.
- Archies is a homegrown brand and began
organised franchising way back in 1987
- Archies was the first to introduce Mother's
Day, Father's Day and Valentine's Day in India
- Archies was started with an investment of less
than Rs. 5000 (now US$ 104) in 1979
- Archies retails a 5-foot tall greeting card for
Rs. 5000 (US$ 104)
