Are you jealous of your friends on Facebook?
The most irritating people on Facebook are those who seem to lead perfect lives.
Travel. I know one couple who posts pictures of their fancy vacations all over the world. Pictures of themselves in the Andes mountains, near the Great Wall of China, Copacabana beach in Rio de Janeiro and in a gondola in Venice. Okay okay we get it. You have no children and too much time and money on your hands to travel the world.
Perfect body. I know one couple who posts pictures of themselves finishing this race and that race. Okay we know you have too much time on your hands to run all day, go to boothcamps to self-mutilate and look like Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. You have never put on weight during pregnancy or had to take care of children all day.
Perfect houses. They will buy a house and post pictures of everything. Flat screen TV, huge bathroom, his and her vanity sinks that are fifty feet away from the shower, granite counter tops, beautiful furniture and immaculate decorating. No children to throw up and mess up their perfect houses and home decor.
Restaurants. One couple goes to most upscale restaurants in town and posts everything from appetizers to dessert and all the courses in between every single weekend. Another couple posts pictures of the cocktails they keep drinking. Another couple wants to show the world all the scenic places they have had their international exotic meals in. They have too much freedom to just get up and go to eat out whenever they feel like it.
Life changes drastically after having children. Please do not show off on Facebook. We women who cannot do any of these things are jealous.

There is a balance for everything in the world. e.g. I usually post about being sneezed on in trains.
Enjoy. Sometimes envy, if done right, can be the biggest motivator. For me atleast it is.

I am not a Face book fan.
People like Tracy who want to record every sneeze ( as she has admitted ) thrive in it .
It can bring about negative emotions in people reading superlatives about others ..including from members of their own family

FB (some Death Forecaster app) just told me I will die in 2022 (age 49) coz of kidney disease. Something earlier had put me at 54. I am indeed growing younger by the day, like my FB friends comment on my pics.

lol... had to unfriend after showing my pics to like a dozen people here.
why jealous though? I removed that post btw. Daughter would freak out, even if the date of my death is 26/05/2022, and will start reading up on kidney diseases.

Why jealous? I enjoy looking at the pics and feeling their joy.
What gets on to my nerves is the religious messages. I have this christian friend who keeps sending stuff about how Jesus saves-the youtube videos of the lectures of ultra conservative pastors, christian songs, bible verses, etc. Most of her friends on her fb frens' list are hindu. So pls, use some discretion when u send out religious stuff.
And then I have this cousin, an ardent shirdi sai baba devotee, who keeps bombarding us with everything abt sai baba...his miracles, pics and all. Oh pls!
I don't want to block the above two coz i don't want to miss out on the personal stuff they share.
Of course, all the games, the cityville, farmerville and such crap are on my block list.

lol! I see you have quoted me Now I stand in the ranks of Nehruji and Gandhiji
Once upon a time" queer " meant uncommon ..strange also extraordinary. just like gay meant happy joyful .
That you should even talk about free choices . !!
Anything or anyone remotely un Tamilian and you bark like a rabid dog..
A man ( I assume you are one ) striking at a woman ..that too unprovoked ..culture at its best

Jealous? My foot. Do not beleive everything posted on facebook is 100% true. I can makeup a face book in 10 min and say I am a millionaire (million coppers that is) and who is gonna care? Propagandhi and TW already know I am a millionaire. Bittu does not give a #@!$ about me and others do not even care. $kar does not even know I exist though I hate his batting every day. BCCI does not even know CH exists.
If you want your ID stolen, feel free to use facebook twitter and other sites. Jealousy is an emotion of elementary school kid, not associated with grown up participating on CH discussing NFL, Kirket, beta beti, bv relations and short cruises (and the related accidents!).
When in doubt consult Saamiyar for free and excellent advice. You do not have to follow it you know :-) but He always gives one.
