Party of personal responsibility Empty Party of personal responsibility

Chris Christie really embodies the Republican party in the Trump era. He was the first holder of high elected office to endorse Trump. He carried the water for Trump and got dumped by Il Douche. His close advisers have been convicted and are going to jail. And now this:

“That’s just the way it goes.”

That was Gov. Chris Chrstie’s response to reporters on Saturday when asked why it was okay for his family to vacation at Island Beach State Park over the Fourth of July weekend — while everyone else was locked out of the popular destination because of the government shutdown Christie ordered, leaving state parks, beaches and other facilities closed.

That's just the way it goes with this party!

After Leper leaves the scene, Trumptards will suckle from Christie's ample bosoms.

Chris Christie may be testing Trump style mocking of the press to see if he can get away with it like pussy-grabber does. If Trump continues to be successful in coming months, then Christie may be targeting Trump worshippers vote.

Christie tries outright lying and is caught again.

http://www.poynter.org/2017/chris-christie-said-he-hadnt-been-at-the-beach-then-a-newspaper-showed-him-the-pictures-update2/465499/

When he got to the Sunday afternoon news conference in Trenton, a reporter asked Christie whether he'd "got any sun." The governor said he hadn't. Then, the Star-Ledger informed his staff they had the goods, prompting a hair-splitting response from his spokesperson.

"Yes, the governor was on the beach briefly today talking to his wife and family before heading into the office," Brian Murray, the governor's spokesman, told the Star-Ledger. "He did not get any sun. He had a baseball hat on."

He would have gotten that White House offer after all if only he tried the Trumpian tactic: call the photos Fake News and brazen it out!
