It is a cynical mutual exploitation arrangement. Evangelicals are cynically exploiting a serial-philanderer and a compulsive liar who said he never asked God for forgiveness. And Trump is cynically exploiting them by pandering to them with statements like "Two Corinthians 3:17, that's the whole ballgame. ... Is that the one you like?"
