The 1+ wives thingie even among non-muslims is pretty common all over India especially among uneducated people. There is a show that airs both in Telugu and Kannada called "bratuku jaTkaabanDi." Many times "more than one wife" situations among hill tribes, laborers, and other economically, educationally, and socially disadvanted folks are featured on that show, and the lawyers on the show keep on reminding them that bigamy is against the law. Looking at the picture more closely has led me to conclude the following. It is obvious that they are his wife and mom. Wife on his right and mom on his left. They are vying for his attention in a typical Maa-Biwi fashion.

Who said the Lungidhari is not the Nawab himself to promote national integration between the rich and the poor, and demonstrating that Hindus also can follow the path set by their Gods?

The Nawab claims that a lot of the construction material for the Parthasarathy temple was supplied by one of his ancestors. He says that is real secularism. Any comments?

The two women seem to be the mom and the wife, and looking by the general girth of each, seems like the thinner one is on the right.

As far as I can tell, he prefers the mom more. Coz of a tempo was to come and hit them, or if he loses the balance, the wife gets thrown on the road, while the mom gets the comparatively safer ditch.

You are wrong. When a man marries a second wife it is mainly bcz the first wife begins to look like his old mom. So he marries a 21 y/o. This is just biology.
