When I'm leaving US, I don't have to go thru an immigration check point. However, when leaving India, there is an immigration check point. Why?

That's a painful line and I'm not sure if it's just busy work for immigration officers with no value add.

You kidding... then India will never know if any PakiSatani ever left India.

BTW, US is the only country that I know does not require the departing passengers to go thro immigration. One can guess when a person left US shores by looking at the arrival stamp of the other country - if necessary.
