earlier this year we had all gone to an amazing vegetable garden in Kerala, full of natural herbs. they gave us an educational tour and let us loose in their shop. Bro bought, among other things, lemongrass oil there. One for himself and one for me and sis too, I think. Either I forgot to pack it from them, or maybe i said try it and then i will have it. Whatever it was, i didn't bring it with me in Jan. So when I went this Sept, he made sure i pack it this time. Then i lost that bag somewhere, and discovered it only 2-3 days ago. Bro had instructed to add just a drop or two in the tea. Well, yesterday i was messing with the bottle and ended up with like 5 drops in one cup of tea. After a few minutes, son came out from his room upstairs and was like - what's that smell?! it was that strong...  The tea smelt strong but i drank it anyway, and i feared it will trigger some weird acidity, but nothing happened. Today i was careful to add just one drop in my afternoon tea that already had ginger and elaichi. 

*love the smell* so aromatic.

Not a big fan of green chili. I like it in pickle form but not in food directly, except maybe eggs. 

Looks like I have been having a mini version of Thai chai, coz many days I add in a dash of saffron to my ginger cardamom tea too, whenever I think I need a little help with lady issues  (I use this term now inspired by a few movies lol).
