I am really very sad to hear about her passing.

Just shocked.

To me..one of the greatest voices- ever..man or woman.

Her every song is meaningful. This one is just amazing..reflects her struggles.

While it is hard to blame another person for someone's weaknesses.. for esp. a woman..what a difference the love of a good-caring life partner or as in the case of Whitney- lack of care/abuse of an uncaring man can make..irreversible deteroriation in so many ways..sad indeed.

true and shall we say i rather accede to that...unfortunate neither we can clone ourselves nor at least have run-lola-run type choices.. but then the Q of who is real you and the identity crisis and so on... cest la vie with our conditioning.. perhaps better to indulge in another birth and so on..

I was surprised to see that openly the news people have released the fact that Whitney Houston died from drugs and alcohol

whereas when Elvis Presley died .also from years of abuse of prescription drugs ..his death was said to be a case of heart failure

the different verdicts struck me as weird .... or a case of "partiality "
