CORSICA for # 1, RHYTHMS for #3, TOAST for #8, and PUMPKIN for #10 are all correct.

While JOAN for # 2 (O inside JAN) could fit the clue and could be a good answer, the answer I have is:
MOON --- M+O+ON (Moon is used occasionally to mean a month).

Yes, on # 3, the anagram indicator is missing. Thanks for pointing it.

I will post hints for the rest of the clues in a few hours.
