Re: to sara boji
This was V.P saar's reply to my e-mail
My dear Sara Boji:
It is really nice of you to think about me and infom me about the new forum. I will be happy to participate in the discussions. I shall make the necessary application to join the forum. In the mean time, wish you and your family a very happy new year 2012.
Kind regards.
Vaidyanathan Pushpagiri.
That was in response to my e-mail to V.P Saar which I have pasted below
VP,
It has been a long time since I saw you posting on Sulekha forum.
Since Sulekha has technical problems, Charvaka and others have started a new forum.

Why don't you come and participate in the new forum?

===> By using the knowledge I gleaned from the pop psychology books I read.
Sulekha forum was the one thing that kept this old man going.
Having been criticized and ridiculed, he quit the forum.
Being lonely, old and nobody to talk to him, he must have sunk into depression.
I tried to help him by inviting to this forum.
Initially he agreed. But has backed out due to fear of being disrespected and ridiculed.

Sounds very familiar regarding another such person. Are you going to extrapolate now?

Re: to sara boji
Sara,
Don't think Mr.VP's absence from Sulekha is "voluntary" (and not sure if it's temporary) after apparently repeatedly insulting female bloggers- with vulgar and offensive comments (Sulekha obviously did not take it as seriously in the forums ban people as they should have done). People like Mr. VP..but, he does cross the line. I have always had a cordial relationship with Mr. VP,and he was always respectful towards me.
Being offensive is not hurtful for the person who is getting the brunt of it..it's even more unhealthy for the person who crosses the line and gets into a pattern of it- and can't get out of it.
Hope he is not depressed, and I wish him well. He does have a lovely family..and visited the US (from what I read not too long ago).
Perhaps he can use some restraint and continue enjoy being connected/participate in on line forums-of his choice.
