Bal Thackeray is dead. Even as many of his contemporaries mourn his death, i believe history will be less kind to him. He will be remembered for having unleashed feelings of regional chauvinism amongst many maharashtrians, first targeting south indians and later UPites and Biharis. This, even though his own family were immigrants to Maharashtra from Bihar as per the autobiography of his (i.e. Bal Thackeray's) father.

Aurangzeb's sons were waiting for him to croak so that they could fight for the throne in the barbaric tradition of mughal savages . Yet he didnt croak till long .

Aurangzeb knew this and the fact that he wasn't dying while his sons were anxiously waiting and waiting till they went into their seventies and were ready to croak off themselves used to give him demonly happiness Wink

What is your take on that ?? Laughing

you seem to be very happy on hearing Thackeray's death. i had assumed that you would become sad and depressed on hearing this news.
