ironic. look at the last word of the first line of the second paragraph of the article you linked. it's part of the clause, "how students' [sic] performed in numeric-based testing." note the apostrophe after the terminal 's'. correspondent pierre comatose apparently thinks that that's how the plural of "student" is formed!MaxEntropy_Man wrote:she has a school administrator career in her future.

There was this 2 year old...my friend's younger brother.... one day we were asking about his dad's bravery and the kid said "The Lion ate my Daddy" He kept repeating it when we laughed and asked him to think well.

Pucca American! It took me a long time to realize that the 'working on' mentioned at the elementary school parent-teacher conference actually means that that's a problem area of the child and that he's doing poorly in that.
"A is working on finishing the tasks on time"=the kiddo has bad time management skills, is slow and can't finish the given task on time.
"S is working on his spelling"=kiddo sucks at spelling.
