I recently a heard a young girl sing "raaju veDale chootaamu raare." The charnam sahityam goes like:

కావేరీ తీరమునను పావనమగు రంగ పురిని
శ్రీవెలయు చిత్రవీధిలో వేడ్కగరాగ
సేవను గని సురలు విరులచే ప్రేమను పూజించగ
భావించి త్యాగరాజు పాడగ వైభోగ రంగ


She pronounced the "ga" in the original sahityam as "ka" at several places (vEDkaka raaka & poojinchaka, paaDaka) conveying the exact opposite meaning of what the sahityam intended. I guess it's hard to enjoy the music if you know the language of the song. Truly ignorance is bliss.
