Starting from January 25 to February 12, 1965 Tamil people openly and actively rebelled against Hindi imperialism and Hindian rule over Tamil Nadu.

காவிரி போல் வையயைப் போல்
எழுந்தனரோ எந்தமிழர்
செந்தமிழைக் காத்திடவே!

Have our Tamil people risen like Kaviri, like Vaiyai to protect Tamil (Sung in awe of the great Tamil uprising of 1965)
