Decision on separate "T" state Deferred

yet again, pretty much everyone expected that this was coming in the last week or so; damn these politicians, playing with Telugu people's emotions.

Question for congress is how do they gain political advatange from this situation.
Option 1: give t and hyd - sweep and share t seats in lok sabha with kcr. Problem is rest of 27 mp seats will be lost.
Option 2: declare no t but give.some sops like gurkha land. Majority of 16 t seats will be lost. Andhra 27 mp seats will be split between ysr, cong and a few to tdp.
Option 3: rayala t with kurnool and anantapur. Reduces ysr power base. Cong gainz a little in mp seats. But i am not sure if any one would like it.
option4: hyd in central status. T rejects. Andhra likes.
The state and state future are secondary. How it helps yuvraj to ascend to the throne is the primary question.

Looks like CONs are allowing TJAC to organize its protests. Interesting strategy. May be they are hoping that the people will be fed-up with the antics of KCR and the goons. It is a bit like giving vaccinations to develop antibodies.

I doubt that KCR will try another "hunger" strike. His son and daughter aren't all that popular. Apparently, families are not encouraging their kids to apply in OU for studies! So, the movement may actually fizzle out.

Azad was emphasizing on the need to talk to the leaders from all 3 regions so I assume RayalaSeema leaders are getting traction too. If the goal is to help Rahul, Congress will be better off aligning with YSR Congress as that will give them the best chance to win more seats.

Telanganites were screwed by Nizam in the past (he became the richest man in the world while keeping Telangana one of the most backward places in India), the Owaisi family (they became wealthy and those who voted for them continue to be very poor) and now the politicians from Telangana (the MLAs, MLCs and MPs own properties in Banjara Hills and Jubilee Hills; but what have they done for Telangana?).

If people of Telangana are smart, they will do what people in Delhi have done after the rape episode - they will protest against the CORRUPT and self-serving Telangana politicians and bring them to book before gaining a state of their own. If not, nothing will change for the poor suckers. The politicians will have more opportunities to rob the people and become like Nizam - very rich. In fact, Seemandhra is better off to separate so that they can invest locally and develop the region.

Cd,
congress and ysr will come together. The only question is before or after 2014 elections. Cong has to compromise on too many things including conceding jagan's political power. Ysrc needs to demonstrate itz worth by winning an election. Ysr base redddys at the top and christian malad at the mass level is very much the heart of congress success formula. Jagan will support rahul aftrr elections. The question is at what cost to rahul or more seriously to the country.
