Not really, that's why I don't have a reservation. But never too late to begin being nice, I was told by way of a hint.

turn the concept on it;s head. tell your wife that this year and next five will be a test - if she doesn't expect anything and is happy with you coming home empty handed then she has true love and passed the test. I've been doing this for past 10 yrs with great effect.

1) is there ever a point in any discussion when you say to yourself, "it seems like i have no clue about this and the person talking to me seems to have spent quite a bit of time immersing themselves in this subject. maybe their informed perspective is deeper than my random internet searches and i am better off taking some time finding out more about this stuff than doing the cut-paste-post routine"?

True, I am going to be sad about this. I can't cook and give massages when I am sad. Same people to blame.

I called a couple of restaurants, but no luck so far. I guess it's going to be home-cooked dinner and massage, then.
