What a shame to openly praise like this. It is all fine leaving the retirement to SRT - if he only he is objective and not selfish.

He is no Sobers and even Sobers was not treated like that. The real greats quit the game on their own saving some self-respect and dignity.

read srinivasan's comment. he is a real sob. in order to justify non action on sachin, he makes sachin into royalty and suggests no one can touch him. dravid laxman sehwag gambhir and all other contributors mean nothing . they were all disposable except for sachin.
i thought India was a democracy with some respect to merit. this bastard denigrates all Indian players for the sake of one non contributing star who is past his shelf life.

with his slowing reflextes, SRT could end up getting seriously injured when facing the likes of dale steyn. he should remember the old saying 'health is wealth'.
