NYT has clarified (or will clarify) that picture 2 from Hyderabad is not from Hyderabad, (AP/Telangana) but another town in NorthIndia. SouthIndians don't indulge in such games and any mention of southindians taking part in holi is blasphemous.

We also urge and encourage southindians to improve fertility in their neighborhood, to further stop these games from invading southindia.

Southindians, we cannot be beaten in the numbers game. We urge you to drop your TV remotes, laptops...lift your veshti to indulge and procreate. We have to raise fertility and stop northindian numbers in southindia.
