Ramachandra Guha: He is still mediocre. On the other profession, after I wrote the piece you quoted Karan, a friend pointed out that at 44 you can't really find a new profession.

Guha is wrong.

Rahul Gandhi can enroll in a 3 month IT QA/Testing training program and can work for TCS or Infosys.

Guha is a guru for some extremely brilliant SUCHers.

He also said that Rahul is not very smart. May be, our brilliant scholars disagree with him on that.

guha has written a fantastic history of indian cricket. i haven't read much of his historical/political writing, but the book on indian cricket was beautifully written. very rich in detail and well documented.
