do northindians consider it stylish for men to wear black leather jackets? do they consider it manly? or couldn't raj kapoor or the producer of the movie afford anything better?

isn't it better than a jacket made of sheet metal? rajinikanth looks in considerable discomfort wearing it yet his producer makes him wear it.
