Umang Shah captured this image of Indian army men playing cricket at D'Zojila Pass in Ladakh, at an altitude of 3528 metres (11,575 feet) above the mean sea level. One wonders if the vehicle parked down the ground marks the boundary. The bowler - a slinger with an almost Malinga-esque tilt - is on the verge of releasing the ball.

Hahaha...typical street cricket...where preventing runs are primary and slips are usually a luxury - bcz the bowlers are not experts to bowl to exact fielding.

I see the "Deep" slips, close wicketkeeper (the bowler must be a spin bowler), deep midwicket and long on...looks like a one-side (leg side) cricket. there is no fielder other off side.

Hard to play in that thin air at 11,500 ft. Indian team should practice here for 1 month to improve their stamina before going to SA/Australia.
