Capital for Andhra and Royal-Telangana Empty Capital for Andhra and Royal-Telangana

I suggest Amaravati as the capital for Andhra. This is where the Krishna river cuts through the Eastern Ghats, and it's beautiful place. It was the capital of the old Satavahana kings, geographically equally convenient / inconvenient for everybody, no water problem (Krishna river flowing by). No need to encroach on prime agricultutral land for buildings, roads and such. Also, whatever be the capital, they should ban the cinema folks building studios and other cinema infrastructure anywhere near the capital. They can go to Vizag if they like. The physical proximity of the cinema industry and the political capital must be cut for the politicians to do some serious work. The state is large enough to afford that separation.

Similarly. Royal-Telengana should have its capital in Kurnool (no water problem with Tungabhadra flowing by), and Hyderabad can be its Cinema and Commercial capital.

Amaravati:  I agree. State capitals can be small towns (as in some states in the US). Let us wait until they announce the REAL decision.

Why Vizag, why not KOnaseema for Aaly-wood? Splitting of AP may throw up other problems when it comes to movies. What if movies made in T use T bhaasha as the language for Doras, heroes and heroines? They will become "very popular" in A.

Kurnool: Apparently, a nice town to live in. However, kaam-chor Kodandaram will ask 100 "students" to kill themselves if Hyderabad is not the capital. He will also go on "Odaarpu yaatra" to make himself popular in the next election.

I read somewhere that Bhadrachalam was added to Khammam in 1956. Was that true? If so, why should people of Bhadrachalam agree to joining T?

Thinking out of the box, I think the capitals should be located where there is NO WATER. That is the only way these politicians will understand the water problems faced by the common folks. Make Ramagumdam, Chittoor, Viianagaram as the capitals.

Great idea! Water for Chennai is a major issue for TN politicians. Ramagundam LOL (belongs to Telangana).
