Women can't be funny!!!

This was the quote by one of my fav man on CH....
why women can't be witty? why they miss a humour bone in their body?
I have met some men & women who are anything but funny...they have this no nonsense attitude in life...completely humourless & boring...I wonder why ????
But the question is...why it's often quoted that women can't be jovial/funny/witty/humourous??????

I think Uppili must have been so disappointed seeing women trying to be funny, he probably took Sanyaas....:p
As a SuperGyaani I can say that men find only good looking women making jokes, and of course, they simply "look at" the women without listening to the jokes.

Your favorite man on CH is half wrong. During my PhD, we did research on human sense of humor. We found that 47% of what humans found funny was caused by stupidity. A whopping 91% of those stupid situations were caused by women. We also found that only 16% of human humor is based on wit. Of that, men were the source of 97% of the wit.
