the greatest hindustani violinist...

Ok...now it is time to define "Hindustani" I cannot accept this any longer. There is no hindustani region or state or even country. glad you enjoyed it. another one from the same family -- her niece. also from TNK's extended family. these guys are ICM's true jAmbavAns. i saw her often growing up.

the purity of swarams in kala's playing are amazing! not one note out of place. i haven't listened to her in a long time. really enjoying this performance.

the second half of this concert features some raga called din-ki-puriya. never heard this raga, but it is very nice. seems to have some resemblance to puriya dhanashree.
