well, pride comes for positive qualities. If he/she is a partner and we love/respect them, then we think of all those positive qualities and feel pride for whatever those are. If there is no such focus, then it's nuetral. You are just together. No pride, no shame. If the focus is on weight, then maybe not. I don't think looks matter.

Absolutely! yea, but if he is my partner, I will also encourage him to look good and lose some weight u know so other people can see his good qualities too.

Yes ...I will proudly stand next to him...and take a pic......later will show him the pic ...give a whack on his head ...fearing my gyaan..Im sure he be working out hard to knock out the extra flab...
