So the complaint is that a large group of people (all natives by birth and thousands of years of ancestry) having the control over the government than it being controlled by the lone imported bahu and her dearest pappu?!! IMO, that is many orders of magnitude more democratic than Congress.

Doesn't matter what their ideas/ideologies are - it is still more democratic than being ruled by one person's or one family's ideas/ideologies.

i disagree. it is better to be ruled by one person who believes in democracy than by a bunch of people who believe in fascism.

If you believe in democracy - you are willing to accept the rule of majority, even if their opinion is counter to your ideas/ideologies. Otherwise you are against democracy. And a monarch who believes (read peddles) democracy is still a monarch. Lineage and royalty of all kinds are monarchies. They may do wonders but still not democracies.
