According to 'Court News UK', when she complained to the hospital, the doctor had offered to apologise but she was also told that Indian doctors were trained to carry out breast exams in that way.
>>> This is one reason they should have at least 70% quota for women in medical colleges in India.

Re: Tamil gynaecologist suspended for groping in UK
A gynaecologist who stood behind a patient and groped her breasts claimed it was how he had been taught to do an examination at medical school in India.
Dr Angamathu Arunkalaivanan put the woman through ‘three years of hell’ after he carried out a ‘sexually motivated’ examination during an appointment at a private hospital.
The married practitioner, who goes by the name of Dr Arun, denied he was at fault and insisted it was how he had been instructed to check breasts while training in Madras.
The panel was told that Dr Arun, who qualified from the University of Madras in 1988, had been questioned over the incident by director of nursing Pat Munday. He agreed with the patient’s description of what happened, but said it was the way he had been taught at medical school.

What a crackpot.....Unnecessarily dragging the entire university name down the toilet just bcz he liked to grope. Must be a quota man..bcz in 1988, there were not very many PVT med schools and there were only about 12 to 15 med colleges in TN and the admission was merit-based, of course subject to quota system.

>>> This is all western bias. They don't like Indians. The kama sutra is clear on this point and it also prescribes that the dr himself be sans clothes during the examination. They are just trying to get us to give up our culture.Rishi wrote:http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2523365/Gynaecologist-told-patient-India-groped-breasts.html

Wait...this guy has gone on to do MD then many years of further training in UK and fellowship, etc..etc..and he sure knows what the correct procedure is....To blame his "training" in Univ of Madras to his "expert examination technique" is belittling all follow up training.
He should be thrown in Jail...I wish Preet baraara had been the prosecutor in his area.
