Did not get it. The demonstrators that broke the window are commoners of San f. Which Indians did they rub shoulder with?

No Indian connection here. This happened in Oakland - a predominantly black area with a history of window breaking, shop looting, rioting etc.
That being said, I share the sentiments of the rioters - the bay area has turned into a sea of helplessness dotted with islands of prosperity and excess inhabited by stock option fueled techie millionaires.
