Kevin P. strated like Dravid and ended up with a blitz like Sehwag. Trott, Bell, Prior, Swann supporting Kevin P., and 3 (near) century partnerships and trashing ending before declaration, England did everything they need to do to dominate the match.

Zaheer is getting criticized for being dishonest with his prep for test. He is the best India got but he brought it upon himself in this test. If past is indicator, Zaheer may prove his critics wrong by sterling performance in future innings.

Situation called for big names to stand up and deliver. Big and small delivered for England. Will India names shine or buckle under the pressure? Weather and pitch seem to be good for batting. Let us hope Big and small of Indian batting stand and play full two days to turn the tables. It is not easy but it can be done.

Absolutely, it was England's day today. With Zaheer out of the way England's confidence soared and they capitalized on his absence. Zaheer is the MVP of the side but if he did not prepare as he should, then he should be held accountable for his action. The coach must also take the blame as it is his job to make sure players do the prep work.

Let's see if the Indian batsmen can give a fitting reply to England's score.
