Why is Sharma still in the team?

Amit Mishra?

What happened to Umesh, Manoj Tiwary, and many other high performers in Ranji (Cm Gautam, Bist, etc...)

Wonder if Bombay Mafia - led by Patil is back in take over move.

Wow! Sehwag dropped. Who is going to open, Rahane?. Will Pujara get to play? Manoj Tiwary was injured not sure he is fit yet.

It will take us a couple of years to have a settled batting order until then back to the '90s. We shouldn't even bother about bowling; who are these guys Shami & Bhuvaneswar, how good are they.

When it comes to bowling, the selectors seem to expect instant success. They chop and mince so many bowlers so many are on the sidelines. They forget that the 33 yr old Zahir Khan - who seems to be their reference - gets only 1 or 2 wkts every test for the last 2 years.

Sreesant, Abhimanu Mithun, Yadav, Praveen Kumar, and now Dinda, Pathan, Shami....

What are the selectors doing?

Sehwag sucks at ODIs and won't be around for the next world cup anyway. Rahane is the new opener. Pujara might end up as a bench-warmer.

Bhuvneshwar looks like a good prospect. He can swing the ball both ways with mid 130s speed. He bowled beautifully in the 1st 20-20 against Pak picking 3 wickets for about 10-12 runs in 4 overs. Haven't seen Shami but he is spoken of as a good prospect on cricket fora and by Wasim Akram too.
