england - sri lanka
not been paying much attention so far. apparently the first test was a dramatic draw. the second match had an exciting first day's play. sri lanka dismissed cheaply for 250 and change on the first day's play with a hattrick for stuart broad.

sanga and mahela, especially sanga (what a sublime average!) is from that old school classical, technically solid batsmen that included our own greats. sadly a dying breed.

gavaskar told me that there is nothing to worry and despite 20-20, such technically sound batsmen will continue to blossom.

Geniuses scheduled matches in the midst of soccer WC, that-too in England! Even NBA wrapped up their finals fast to avoid embarrassment.
