....at a time of salary compression in most professions, this sure would discourage people from bothering to go to college.

P.S. People in the "Finance" sector are not included.

I would love to see poverty, war and disease eradicated from the entire world. I know it will never happen, but I would love to see it done.

i am going to show this to some very lefty youngsters i know who spend way too much of my money at starbucks.  maybe my monthly starbucks bill will go down.

This is from someone who attended a college orientation for her kid:

The speaker told the kids " avoid Starbucks. assuming 2 cups a day you will save $5 /day and $1500 a year and $6000 over 4 years."

The question is what do you substitute it with?
