Heroins had to be saree wearing sati savitris back then :p
And for a good reason. I mean even Helen was slightly bulgy. And idk if she choreographed her own dances but they were vulgar. Very untastefully done outfits added to it.
I'm totally corrupt now. It used to be so embarrassing watching Helen song with friends n family around.

See that was the thing about her. she did all those item numbers with vulgar moves, but she herself looked somewhat graceful doing that.
I always loved her songs. After coming from a movie, that's what I did the most at home. Dance like Helen. Wrap a towel around my waist and stretch my leg out of the gap while shaking a leg; go from one room to another doing cabaret; and so on. I thought that was the norm. I didn't know people didn't like her. (Ya ok, once, I danced like her when mom's friend came home thus shocking her and embarrassing mom, but my sis told me this years later).
Hmm, considering the way I turned out, no wonder I liked her as a kid, lol. And now that I think the elders in my family must have known this all along *feeling slightly ashamed*.
