Why is it an embarrassment? Modi and his wife agreed soon after their marriage that he would devote his life to the country and they both followed that decision without any acrimony. His wife is proud and wishes him well even after living away for a long time. In traditional India, what Modi and his wife did is considered to be noble. Therefore, the average voter will be more than happy to vote for him.

What Nehru and Indira did in their marriage is quite different. The average voter (or any sensible person) will consider their behavior to be off the mark.

This Haryana gram sabha must be a chamcha of corrupt, Vadra worshiping CONgovt. The details of the gram panchayat will soon come out in the open. Just wait and see what happens to CONmen who are contesting in Haryana. Many will lose their deposits.

Did you see the clip whose link Rishi posted in the thread 'Too much information'? Modi acolyte Madhu Kishwar is saying that the marriage should be considered as if it has been annulled and it can still be annulled on the ground that Modi and the woman have never stayed together as man and wife.

Apparently they were both below the age for marriage in 1968. May be Diggy should go after that and have them and their parents arrested for child marriage! That way, the voters will be so pissed off that they will drive CONmen across the border at Wagha.
