I assume it must be connected to wealth declaration. I suspect the affidavit also asks for father, mother name, caste, religion, etc...Razz

MMS not mentioning his wife's name makes perfect sense. He is the wife of the Nehru family - sort of.

Did MMS abandon his wife 40 some years ago? Was she prohibited from public appearances? Did the world come to know about his spouse's existence for the first time this past week.

If any of the above are true then MMS can be called Modi Sr.

Do indians really believe that they like the americans  have the leisure to wonder about whether or not these fossils listed the names of their spouses on some paper? I mean Sonia Gandhi is not Indian or born in India and the country was extremely welcoming and accepting of her for at least a couple of decades.
