CHENNAI: Continuing her tirade against Narendra Modi's Gujarat model of development, Tamil Nadu chief minister and AIADMK general secretary J Jayalalithaa on Thursday said that Tamil Nadu is much more developed than his state in all aspects.

At an election rally in Krishnagiri on Thursday, the chief minister drew comparison between Tamil Nadu and Gujarat on various counts.

She said a myth had been created about Gujarat's growth that it topped the states in the country. "But it is not correct. The fact is that Gujarat is more concerned about marketing the state while Tamil Nadu, under my leadership, is concerned more about delivering the public service than lip service," she said.

She is right. She is doling out a lot of idlis, vadais, sambar and bottled water. Looks like Mamata is trying to shove roshogolahs, chitroukouts, shonndeshues, choum choums, mochouloi kabobs, etc.

But, then, they are just aping CONmen and destroying the economy.

While poor people in TN are munching on idlis and vadais and dosais and drinking lots of sambar the poor in Gujarat are starving.

How could you leave out dosa/dose/dosai from Amma's menu? Also, how could you forget not to include mishti doi in Didi's menu? Unpardonable!

Also just to let the world be aware - we in Orissa prepare the best chenna sweet in the world - Chenna-khojja. It beats all those sandeshs, rosogollas, rasmalais hands down in its sheer delicacy.
