The above newspaper owned by jagan (ysrp) provides the results of local elections in ap.
the elections to local bodies were forced by supreme court decision after Congress repeatedly failed to conduct them on schedule. Today the results of voting that took place in late march were announced.
Some 10 corporations and 160 odd municipalities were involved. Mostly urban areas.
the numbers speak for themselves.

It is urban vs rural thing and the final campaigning and distribution of money and liquor (by all the parties) will make a difference but at least it is promising that the SA voter has chosen the lesser of the two evils. I am not terribly excited about the TDP doing well but at least that the looters are not winning. So far.
Waiting for the ZPTC results tomorrow for the rural trends.
