Sword of Mohammad Empty Sword of Mohammad

Pakistan calls its military operation against militants/terrorists/taliban etc., as "Zarb-e-Azb." Apparently it means "Sword of Mohammad," with the lexical meaning being "sharp and cutting." However, the Urdu name doesn't "sound" sharp (as for slicing). It "sounds" more like a rough saw in action.

To make the language sound like the scene, using Telugu would have been a better option.

They are trying to take a page from the IDF and the Mossad and name their operations after their holy book.

India has no guts to name after Mahabharata or Ramayana Characters (which is a good thing - Imagine Hanuman or Krishna being shot down). So they name them after historic figures. I suggest that they name the missiles after muslim mughal kings as they will work sOs in killing fellow Ummah members (we hardly use any missiles against the Chinkus).

P.S. The reason the Pakis are going after their Waziristan brethren is due to an ultimatum from the Chinkus. Notice how they suddenly are going after Uzbeks and Uighars. Dont hold you breath - they wont harm the pathans as long as they promise in the name of Koran to attack only Kashmir and India.

Operation Badr. The zarb-e-azb was used in the Battle of Badr by Muhammad.

These sound like the names of railway engines for the private rail service that the King of Parlakhimidi owned. He ran train service for a 9-mile stretch between Parlakhmidi and Naupada (Naupada is on the main Madras-Calcutta line). He had 3 engines named Ram, Lakshman, and Hanuman. Ram & Lakshman were real slow. You could get down from the running train, take a leak, and could get back on the train. Hanuman was fast. It required you to run behind the train after the leak so you could get back. Lakshman always used to break down (at least once a week), and needed Hanuman to be dispathed to move Lakshman plus the passenger bogies to the destination.

India should name her anti-Paki weapons - Mujahideen, Jihad, Wahabi-wipe-out, Prophet's command, 72-scorch, etc. Usually, the faithful will bow down in front of such pious weapons. If they resist, then they should send kafir weapons like - Piggie-in-the-blanket, the-untouchable-ham, doggy-boogie, varaahaavataara, etc. If they don't work, there is always the last Brahmaastra - donkeys and goats!!!
