What is the story behind camps cola compound?
looks like this is a25 year story? The builders are probably gone?
if sc demolition is carried out, will this be a lesson to middle class opportunists? Or is this a case of innocent people caught in the middle?

No innocents here. Just a bunch of wealthy, PR-savvy scofflaws who're cocking a snook at the highest court of the land witheir incessant (and by now, annoying) drama. The local netas and the media who never bat an eyelid when pavement dwellers and other poor squatters are evicted are pandering to this bunch of spoilt drama queens.

The local corruption of babus hurts India's ability to attract investments. If India improved its laws and black money situation, they can attract lot more money into real estate. A honest corporation that can build low income housing could invite foreign investment at decent interest rates ( govt could provide subsidies or incentives to make rates attractive). This will achieve policy goals with limited cost to govt. Only problem is neither politicians nor the middlemen can get a lot of cut from profits.

i am sympathetic---got no choice .

dont know whether they have a case for support or not . haven't studied the case in detail .

anyway , just received this on whatsapp---

fools !! why are you doing a havan in the campa cola compound ??!!
