After the politicians hyping Vijayawada-Guntur as the possible future capital, and the real estate folks made enough money so much so that there is no more to be made, the focus changed. Rumors are spread that Vijayawada-Guntur is sitting on dozens of seismic faults and the countdown for the next big one already started (wonder when was the last big one!). So the vultures are onto the next best real estate opportunity - film city. Some film folks started talking Tada in Nellore Dt. (Ramanaidu's son Suresh Babu) and another site in Chittoor Dt. (Mohan babu), both being close to Madras. But politicians want to encourage the real estate machine to take off in Vizag. So they talk about the scenic beauty around Vizag and Araku, and other facilities there. Once they are done making money in that area, it too will have cyclone/seismic/vaastu/distance problems. Keeping this speculation about the capital, film cities, IT mega cities, and the so called distributed development is good for the real estate folks, and by extension the politicians. So we don't need to be surprised if the politicians will keep going without a capital, without even a decent airport, and even a little rail division. There's money to be made though benamies in uncertainty.

Under no circumstances should the SA govt. offer free land and other sops to these film folks. Let them make a business decision - stay in Hyd or move to some place in SA, and paying for the move if they move.
