Should it continue to function from Hyderabad? I say yes, as long as the politicians there don't start hitting on it for funds etc., in exchange for industry's protection and wellbeing.

Once KCR & Co come into power , they will have plenty of other opportunities and will probably leave the film industry alone.

Didn't the telugu industry continue to function in Chennai for like 30-35 years before scaling in to Hyderabad? I don't think there will be a rush to get out of Hyderabad.

As long as they provide a starring role for t leaders family members and some money they will be ok. ysr was not particularly helpful to film industry either.

I guess it all depends on how attitudes evolve. Afterall it's a business, and businesses are used to give and take. If their work is impeded beyond what they can endure, they will naturally seek salubrious climes elsewhere.
