try waze. the best. finds alternate routes and redirects you from traffic. been using it for a while now.

any other waze users? it wowed me again this morning. my usual route was a nightmare (as i found out later from others who took it), but waze pulled me out of it and took me through all kinds of crazy back roads and got me into work with no extra time added to my usual commute time.  no wonder google paid $1 B for it. but the privacy concerns, potential for accidents etc. are definitely concerning. i don't dick around with it after switching it on by interacting with it.
