Temporary capital for SA Empty Temporary capital for SA

Vijayawada to be "temporary" capital of SA. If they accord any permanence to it there will be lot of dissatisfied people, divisive arguments will resurface (especially in light of the Urban Planning Minister going around and pitching for Vijayawada-Guntur for permanent capital all these months), and it is only a matter of time before the state is redivided.

What a huge waste of time, effort, money / resources which could have been better utilized for doing good to general public without dividing the state initially and then trying to build a new capital.

I agree with Seva. SmArtha was suggesting e-governance without a bulky capital. Just as Google has the "cloud", AP govt can have its own e-cloud and set the standard for others in India. The US govt, the pentagon, CIA, etc., have their own "clouds" that are quite secure. So, the bureaucrats in AP can sit at home and do the work.

Hopefully someone close to CBN is thinking along the same lines.

I suggest a floating capital. 4 or 5 old ships can be remodeled. The flotilla can be moved along the long coast of ap. Every month a new place can be called temporary capital. They can move to a bus convoy when wheather gets risky. Bus convoy can be stationed between kurnool and anantpur. It can travel banguluru nh. That will solve the second capital problem..

In Telugu, the other word in usage for a capital city is "mukhya-pattanam."
I've not come across the "tala nagaram" usage. That's not to say that a new word cannot be coined.

Damn! I forgot this word which used to be common when I was kid; If anything this proves gradual imposition of Hindi on Telugus.

What have clouds got to do with building a capital city sir? You're talking like useless laptop babu.

I think Vakavaka was alluding to this Indian babu's pronouncements on cloud computing.
