Oh, BTW, you missed a very important element of this drama, which reminded me of the song in the first place. It is a two-thousand-year-old "ode to the artist" that is strategically placed to coincide with the mother wiping a tear and the teacher's dramatic death. The relief you felt was a result of the closure imparted by that ode.

Oh, that sanskrit chant that is uttered by the Guru before he slumps to death? I didn't comprehend the verse fully. Oh yes, very poignant indeed. He has been reborn as the student and he can leave in peace? Very deep symbolism.
