Modi and RSS on a collision course

....Modi, one should remember, has successfully and ruthlessly crushed Parivar personnel and the projects they ran in his home state. So, he has a record of being out of sync with the parent organisation. All that seems to have been forgotten. Modi and Mohan Bhagwat [RSS chief] are the best of friends now. But, for how long?

This from a Pseudo-secularist....BUt, nothing new here. I predicted a RSS-Modi fall out somewhere in the middle of his second term. RSS and Modi were at loggerheads after he decimated the Parivar in his state in the middle of his second term (Sanjay Shah, VHP Chief episodes). They came together as it suited them both. by 2021-2023, Modi will become impatient and start biting RSS.

I don't think the average Hindu thinks of RSS as an institution he/she can depend on for tradition and culture. So, even if Modi puts it in its place, the people will vote for him as long as they see significant development and prosperity. Modi's Center-state partnership model may well be a significant move. Most development can happen through this partnership. The common man will look at him as a statesman and starts to wonder why CONartists have been maligning him all these years.

Vinod Mehta is an idiot. This article is just his own wishful thinking. The media has come to grudgingly accept that Modi is not going anywhere for the next 10 years, at least. So now, they have to console themselves in two ways:

1. By telling themselves that Modi is not turning too far to the right.

2. Modi will have a fall out with the RSS and other Sangh Parivar members.

While Vinod Mehta is dreaming about that in this article on First Post, he seems to have totally missed another article on the same site about RSS guys getting prominent positions in the BJP through Amit Shah, Modi's right-hand man.

Vinod Mehta is like most people who write about the RSS - they have never set foot in a shakha, they don't have much personal interactions with RSS guys, even the limited interactions they have tend to be closed-minded superficial ones. They can never understand the deep emotional and spiritual bond that exists between a swayamsevak and the RSS. Modi called BJP as his mother during the speech in Parliament. What he didn't say is that the RSS is his father, the one who gave him all the training he has, the who guided him and cleared the path for his success right up until the most recent elections. Families of blood-relatives may break apart in India. But the Sangh Parivar will not.

RSS is the best bet to keep Modi in turning into an Indira. It is interested in very long term goals in changing the ethos of the hindus. Needless to say they are taking over cultural, educational and social welfare departments - that is typical of Commies, iSlamis, Religious right and the RSS.
