Emperor's clothes idea for Modi dinner Empty Emperor's clothes idea for Modi dinner

In the old story, the weavers make weaving motions in the air, the emperor and the empress wear those woven clothes of exquisite quality (only they can believe they can feel them on their bodies, rest all see them naked), they go on a parade, and a kid shouts, "mom, his highness and her highness have no clothes."

Here the White House Chefs can make peeling, cutting, sauteing, boiling, baking, broiling, frying, motions, set the long dinner table with flower arrangements, and the exquisite china from Nancy Reagan years, and have empty champagne bottles ready. The guests arrive in Armani suits and long flowing dresses (invtees to include Preet Bharara, Rajat Gupta, Sri Srinivasan, Vivek Kundra, that girl from the State Dept., the Verma guy, A.R. Rehman (he hangs out here most of the time anyway), the pregnant Chelsea Clinton (she is an Indian food lover), and a few others. The empty champagne bottles are emptied into flutes and they all raise them to toast the Prime Minister. Then they sit down to eat after spreadng the White House emblemed dinner napkins on their knees and make conversation as they make motions of cutting with their knives, tining the meat and veggies with their forks and eating the imaginary food. Then comes the beautifully decorated dessert in empty dessert plates. The diabetic guests politely decline it, and the sweet toothed ones gobble up the sweet air.

Then it's time and the guests leave, and on their way stop by at the nearby McDonalds and load up on Big Macs to suppress the hunger pangs.
