Naidu vs. Farmers Empty Naidu vs. Farmers

Why mess up the land that yields three crops a year to make room for a capital to be built over it? Is there no dry land in that general area that belongs to the government?.  Sounds crazy to me.
Okay if for whatever reason the decision has been made to build that capital on those farmers' backs, least Naidu could do is to visit the place and listen to the affected people. Not so. Some five hand-picked "reps" (suspected to be TDP sympathisers) from the villages get an all expenses paid trip to Hyderabad to meet with Naidu. Why can't he go where he wants to build that capital and talk to the farmers? Too hot for him? All this sounds a little high handed.

Naidu vs. Farmers Empty Re: Naidu vs. Farmers

Apparently, some vastu experts convinced him that having a river to the North is good for the capital. He may be antagonizing his followers in Krishna district by not building at least some of the capital buildings on their side of the river. Looks like, even the airport will be built on Guntur's side (farmers around Gannavaram don't want to part with their lands for expanding the runway, etc.).

Hopefully, he won't face problems in Vizag, Tirupati, Kurnool and Anantapur - he has big plans there as well.

May be Naidu will be in trouble with the farmers again:
