Finally... Empty Finally...

... after months of civil war, it looks like Tripoli is falling to the ragtag rebel fighters aided by the western powers. The rebels have surprised analysts with the swiftness of their advances. Hopefully we can soon say goodbye to another Middle Eastern dictator. The west won't get as actively involved in Syria, but I hope the Assad regime falls next.

I came in just to talk about Libya and saw your thread.

Libya is down... fully - unlike Egypt. The question for Libya is how will it recover and reform once the West's attention is taken off.

The more important question is How long ill it be before Syria falls... AND, after Syria who will be next? Iran?

So far, Tunisia, Sudan, Libya have changed dramatically. Bahrain and Egypt have changed clothing and make up. Saudi and Kuwait will survive with money.

If Libya allows west to reassign forces, syria could be taken up. Assad is giving the world community every reason to step in. The problem is the religious mix (syria is mostly arab sunnis ruled by a type of shias(assad) backed by Iran. So Assad may have some internal support from shias and other minorities. But his time to go has arrived.
