khan's attorneys did not represent him competently enough; they should have argued that the victim was.suicidal for sleeping on the street, and that the mumbai police are culpable for allowing him to sleep there, as is the mumbai municipal corporation, for not providing a safe place for a homeless man to sleep.

5 yr sentence. But 48 hr INTERIM bail so he can appeal....

The sentence will be stayed and he will e on bail until appeal heard. if confirmed after 5 years, he will appeal to the SC and stay on bail. half way through, he will die happy man in 20 years escaping the sentence.

Yeah. Sikular India is a highly developed country when it comes to allowing terrorists, murderers, CONartists, rapists, gropers, perverts, etc., to live their lives. EU and the US are still developing countries.

Why is it necessary to call him 'secular khan'? This is a small time crime and legal system is working. His crime is minor compared to Sanjay Dutt's treason.

Driving a BMW drunk (or not) over the pavement in the middle of the night killing the poor homeless sleeping is a SMALL TIME CRIME ?

As the criminal is better known even killing becomes a small time. yeah... you are right in a way....

So this is for drunk driving. I thought this is for killing wild animals in Rajasthan.

Salmon khan is punished for his crime. He can use legal system like any other well resourced person would. His actions were arrogant and deserve jail time. However his mistakes were not like Sanjay dutt's treason.

That is the state of judiciary in India and status of criminals and killers.
