.....The inquiry sought to know how her 2 daughters were in possession of both Indian and US passports..... The kids are spending their summer vacation with their father in the US but will require Indian visas to return.

Rich, powerful and influential....apparently great life..... Would you like to be in her shoes?

Do the kids have PIO/OCI and US citizenship? They can't have full citizenship of both countries.  Once tainted by the all mighty US, she'll probably get some embassy title (don't know what) till she retires (or joins politics).

There are only so many countries she can be posted to now.



She probably cut a deal with the new government.

Apparently, they were illegally using Indian passports.

Or..... she can be moved to MHA and posted in any Sikular state - especially, Bihar.
